SMS Messages OVH: professional SMS integration

SMS Messages OVH lets you send and receive SMS from SipLine, with your OVH Telecom SMS account.

What SMS Messages OVH does

• Sends SMS to international mobile numbers
• Accepts numbers in international form (+33...) or national form: 06 12 34 56 78 becomes +33612345678, using the default country you choose (France unless set otherwise)
• Receives incoming SMS automatically, with a desktop notification
• Keeps the history of your conversations on your computer, with unread message badges in the sidebar
• Lets you choose the OVH SMS account and the sender: only senders validated by OVH are offered, the others are shown with their status
• Shows the number of characters and SMS before sending
• Optional advertising mode: OVH then adds the STOP notice, and a tooltip recalls the French rules (no advertising SMS at night from 8 pm to 8 am, on Sundays or on public holidays)
• Sends an SMS directly from the SipLine contact menu

Privacy and security

• Your SMS history is encrypted on your computer for your Windows account.
• Your OVH API keys are entered in the SipLine settings and displayed masked.
• The log never contains your keys or the text of your SMS, and phone numbers are masked in it.
• A link in the settings helps you create your OVH API keys.

Requirements

• SipLine for Windows, version 1.1.640 or later
• An active OVH Telecom SMS account and its API credentials
• Included during the 30-day trial, then a plugin license is required
